Kinda been taking a break from shooting, haven’t had much in the way of desire to work with models or shoot anything. Burnt out I guess you could say. I do have some new work I will try and get up, mainly sports or a random shooting Ive done. I’m still here just waiting for some inspiration.

I have been contracted to shoot the Kingsburg High sports this school year which is really exciting for me because I get paid this time lol, last time I spent all year shooting the sports (My senior year) It was a freebie so our yearbook had pictures.
Here is something new from this weekend.

Not pushing or even looking for paid work, Ive come to realize I when im trying to make money with photography I dread shooting. So im going to work some simpler artist work and just enjoy photography.

AKA Abuel in the Golden Age owner and creator the fantastic Sandy needed a quick head shot before heading back to LA so I was very happy to oblige.
This is one of my favorites

I have a few shoots in the pipeline along with some paid work coming up but the last 2-3 weeks have been soooooo slooooow, kinda depressing really. Ive been focusing on putting together a better on-location lighting setup and my postwork… I think ive gotten better
. Well just thought I would update and let ever see the beautiful Bobbie

I’ve recently reworked my business model and price structure with I feel will allow for a better experience and great cost/ quality ratio for my clients, I’m quite excited about it really : D.
I’m still pretty unknown among Kingsburg except for the High school kids who know about me, just got to reach out to their parents and it’s what I’m working on, I have a lot of skill and talent to offer at great prices to the Kingsburg area market.
Oh, and I’ve decided to start doing weddings, something I was very against in the beginning but I feel I have something to offer in that arena.
Here is a quick fashion photo I shot last week with a lovely model from Portaville

Ive been shooting less usual but I think the quality of my work has grown a lot. Ive started a new price structure and offering, when you shoot with me you don’t have to buy prints from me, which in turn is a huge savings for anybody looking for more than a few prints. I think its a great deal and great deals mean happy customers!
Anyways here is some of the new work Ive been shooting.

This past Friday we had a shoot styled Victorian and boy was it a long long day, I didnt even get any sleep from after getting off work (I work nights) 2 makeup artist, 2 hairstylist and 4 models, not to mention me, Gao Vang (Wardrobe) Elizabeth and a boyfriend or two, lots of people in my house. Started out crappy but finished with some great images I think. I cant say nothing bad about anybody, everybody performed wonderfully and did amazing work from hair and makeup to the modeling. I think I should just let you judge, here are some images from the shoot. Just to let you people know you can book shoots like this for your self, whether you just want some amazing pictures for need a start to a modeling portfolio.

Amazing huh ?

Just finished some fantastic photos of Ben Scott. He came all the way from San Luis Obispo for some head shots from me. Great guy, was cool just chatting and shooting. Something a lot of photographers forget when shooting with clients is it should be fun, an enjoyable experience for both people involved. Its something I always work to achieve when shooting especially with great people I get a chance to work with.
Here are some photos from the session.

I had the chance to work with the stunning Macy Osborne. Absolutely gorgeous girl and a wonderful model for having so little experience. She drove all the way down from the Sacramento area to work with me and I think left with some awesome images.
She was really easy to work with and I had a great time shooting her, except in the beginning getting kicked out of our location. Err hate that, I am sorry when I am willing and everybody is willing to sign liability releases to keep shooting at a location LET US!! Spots to shoot keep shrinking in this area and its hard to stay creative even within the location we’ve bin shooting. Loosing one really is a loss
.
Any who business is slow, I think its my lack of advertising…
Maybe I should run an add. If you wanna book a shoot its only 50$ for 2 hours and 10 Edits and our print prices are unbeaten on a local level 8×10s are 10$ and 5×7s are 5$.
For those prices you can have pictures this good
